This is a little photo story about Leo's first experience with a Joke! I hope you enjoy! One evening not too long ago I was lying around, just minding my own business.  Mom comes in and says: "Leo, do you know what a Joke is?" Well, I give her my best "dumbstruck look" and say: "Gizzmo says I'm a Joke, Meowmie! Is it me?!" She smiles and says: "Well not exactly Leo. A Joke is a funny story. Gizzmo thinks you're a funny cat and that's why she says that about you. Would you like to hear a joke Leo?" "Sure Meowmie", says I, posing myself to hear my very first joke! Says Meowmie: "Ok Leo, here goes". "Leo, why did the chicken cross the road?" Well, what kind of a stupid question is that, I think to myself. So I say, "Meowmie, what is a chicken?" Meowmie gives me one of her amusing "exasperated" looks and says: "It's a kind of a bird that lays eggs and clucks, Leo!" Wow! That really cleared that up Meowmie!! (ya, right!) Now, I know what a bird is. I've seen Mom eat eggs periodically. I'm not sure what a "cluck" is, but I don't think I'd better ask if I ever want to hear the rest of this "Joke". So I say:  "Ok, Meowmie, Why did the chicken Cross the Road?" She says: "To get to the other side!!! (Teee Hee, HaHa)!!! Do you get it Leo, Do you get it!!! Well, I didn't get it! So I thought about it: "Why does the Chicken (a kind of a bird that lays eggs and "clucks" --- whatever that is) Cross the Road? To get to the other side???! Hmmmmm..... And then....like a lightning bolt....it hit me!!!! "Meowwwwrharrrrharrrharrr!!! To get to the other side!!!! Mewowwwwrhoooohooooohooo!!! Gosh that's funny Meowmie!!! Meowwwwwrheeeeeheeeeeheeee!!!" Well folks, that was how I learned about jokes! I laughed all night long and only quit when Meowmie threatened to "stuff a sock in my mouth"!!!! So I crawled under the bed and quietly "snickered myself to sleep"!! Maybe someday she'll tell me another "Joke"!
